At BenBau, there is nothing more important than making sure that every single one of us gets home safe at the end of every working day. At Benbau, we understand that our safety should never be compromised. We want our team to be present for the moments that mean the most to us and our families: weddings, birthdays, first steps, graduations, and so much more.
To us, it’s more than just putting up the correct signs, adhering to the right personal protection equipment and ticking off checklists. It’s about creating and pioneering a culture of trust and care throughout our organisation.
Our team is comprised of dedicated and engaged HSE personnel from across the world, fully trained to drive value at every opportunity regarding compliance, adherence and enforcement. They provide HSE navigation to all teams, with specialised risk analysis, in-depth communications and comprehensive training sessions, empowering our team to execute their functions at advanced levels of diligence.
This year BenBau AB underwent certification for ISO 45001. Pertaining to Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, this systematic process ensures that we are always adhering to the best international practices. We are dedicated to risk reduction and mitigation, with the aim to combat against occupational incidents and accidents.
These principles put employee safety and legal compliance first, with an eye for productivity while maintaining a culture of trust.
We recently achieved 3 Million Hours without a single reportable accident or injury. This speaks to the safety-first measures that we have put in place to ensure that our workers do the job right every single time they step out on site. Those 3 Million Hours show that we build with safety as our foundation, and excellence as our result, giving our workers a life in which they can truly flourish. Additionally, we hit 1 million hours in 2024 alone, displaying our continued commitment to keeping our workers safe.
To create a truly safety-first culture, BenBau developed a series of first-world systems known as BSAFE – HSE family of systems to elevate our safety standards across all our operations to elite functional levels. The BSAFE systems allow us to track, report and address safety events in real-time, ensuring that every member of our team goes home safely at the end of every day.
The BSAFE awards (Benbau’s exclusive awards ceremony) have been hosted every year since its establishment in 2024. On this evening, we showcase our top-performing HSE-conscious teams, and they receive specialised awards for their commitment to ensuring HSE excellence at every opportunity. This is in combination with internal monthly awards given to our colleagues to create an ongoing culture of proactive health and safety.
BenBau regularly receives external awards from our partners for our commitment to HSE protocols. In 2024 alone, we received over 20 awards from our trusted partners.
